Find Your Light
"Find your light" ("Procure sua Luz" in the original Portuguese version) is a set of ten illustrations that, together, tell a story about the loss of innocence, inspired by one of the letters by the artist Pier Paolo Pazolini.
This story shows how an initially naive person interacts with the world's wickedness for the first time. Regardless of what they are, they are obscure things that generate fear, anguish, anxiety and can make a person close to the universe, losing their own color and individuality. But the narrative also addresses how the person can find a light that will guide them to move forward and recover their own self, despite the problems.
This work was developed as an assignment for the discipline "Illustration for fictional narrative" at PUC-Rio, taught by Professor Miguel Carvalho, in 2021.
